RemarquesI had just walked outside and looked up at the night sky as I do every night when I go out to smoke, yes bad habit I know... But I never take my phone. But tonight I walked out, looked up and the timing was perfect. I saw it go from nothing in the sky, fairly slowly across the sky compared to your usual shooting star. It grew brighter and brighter and about 2 or 3 seconds in, it was bright enough to see fragments or debris falling or burning off the object. I'd guess at the 4 or 5 second mark when it grew its brightest and then went dark. I'm so happy I was lucky enough to see this. If it helps I was looking NW slightly and the object seemed to go from NE to SW or EW approx.
