RemarquesI was in my backyard, gazing at the stars after work when I witnessed this. As a size description; if the stars were grape sized, the fireball was a basketball in comparison. Using this analogy, the length of the trail was approx 3 basketballs long when the bright flash occurred and it travelled one more basketball length before extinguishing in a split second. The edges kind of went fuzzy before it completely vanished, I’m not sure if that was disintegrating matter or not. The majority was an extremely bright white with bright blue and a little bright red along the top and bottom edges of the white ball & train. I’m sorry I don’t have the correct words to describe my experience as I’ve never seen anything like it! It was quite large, I’m sure someone else must have witnessed this too. The whole thing lasted approximately 1 to just over 1 second.

Flash terminal
ObservationYes
RemarquesIt appeared as a big white ball that had a train, and had a thick blue and, in parts, red outline. Very very fast, a mass with a thick train, and then a brighter white flash occurred in the middle, illuminating the blue and red colours to bright white, and ‘poof’ it was gone!
