That was the closest I have ever seen a “shooting star” in my life, and it was the only time I have ever heard a report from a shooting star (fireball), WOW!!!!!

The object was glowing yellow and Orange with many smaller particles breaking off and probably the longest train of yellow and Orange that I’ve ever seen in my life.

I thought there was a distant lightning flash from a very high cloud but then realized there were no clouds so I turned 180 degrees to look nearly due south and saw the fireball.
